Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking device little in pyrolysis of an active ingredient and capable of efficiently heating a smoking agent and quickly starting to smoke, and to provide a method of smoking. SOLUTION: This smoking device using a smoking agent comprises i) a first case sealably containing a water, ii) a second case sealably containing a calorific agent, iii) a third case containing the smoking agent and iv) a means for enabling to open the first and second cases. Accordingly, it is possible to miniaturize and lighten such a device, and also the device may be subjected to an incineration treatment.
