STRING TYPE BUSH CUTTING HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject head of simple structure, which allows the slashing string to be securely inserted, wound and sent out. SOLUTION: This string type bush cutting head is for a manually operated bush cutter for cutting grass and bushes, and comprises a casing 3 provided with a reel 4 over which two reel chambers 9 and 9', divided by a partition 11 extending in the reel radial direction, are formed. The string 10 is wound in each of the reel chambers 9 and 9', and extends to the outside through an outlet 27 or 28 in the casing 3. The partition 11 is located at the same height as the outlet 27 and 28 on the same axis, and provided with at least one string insertion passage 7 or 8, through which the other end of the string is guided into the reel inside. Each real chamber is provided with at least one insertion passage, whose inlet is formed as a funnel 19 through which the string is passed. The funnel is provided with a string guide 24 on the reel chamber side at each partition. The insertion passage extends nonlinearly within the reel.
