Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the power generating performance by providing a flow straightening layer in a gas supplying part for supplying the gas to an oxidant gas or fuel gas flow passage in the periphery of a cell, and restricting the dispersion of the gas flowing speed in the gas flow passage inside a cell assembly to a specified value or less. SOLUTION: A ceramic continuous porous body 23 is placed on a casing bottom plate 25 on the lower side inside a fuel supply chamber 20 of a power generating chamber 2, and the width dimension and depth dimension of the porous body 23 are formed smaller than the inside dimension of the fuel supply chamber 20, and a clearance between the both is restricted to be small. The porous body 23 formed of a ceramic body or the like arranged inside the fuel supply chamber 23 is evenly distributed and aligns the gas, and sends the gas to a cylindrical cell assembly 3. At this state, dispersion of the gas flowing speed in the gas flow passage inside the cylindrical cell assembly 3 is preferably restricted to within 5%, and preferably within ±3% to maintain satisfactory power generating performance and durability of the solid electrolyte fuel cell. The top surface of the porous body 23 is provided with a ceramic honeycomb 21 in layer at a constant thickness in the condition that a hole direction is arranged in the vertical direction.
