Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly break away a film by spraying gas heated by a hot air spray mechanism on the film. SOLUTION: A film break-away device 1, a device for breaking away a film 22 adhered on the surface of a substrate 2, a panel surface 21 as a base, is provided with a jig 16 of integrated hot air spray mechanism 3 and break- away mechanism 4. The hot air spray mechanism 3 is constituted with a hood 13 having an opening whose tip expands transversely in a band shape, the break-away mechanism 4 is constituted with a metallic blade 15, and the jig 16 is constituted by integrating these two mechanisms. The film break-away device 1 sprays hot air 14 from the hood 13 in a band shape for heating, and simultaneously, interlocking it, the jig 16 actuates so that the blade 15 of the break-away mechanism 4 breaks away the film 22 with adhering to and along the panel surface 21. Thus, because heating speed is high to efficiently heat gas, break away of the film 22 can be performed in a short time.
