SPRINKLER FIRE EXTINGUISHING EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR INSTALLATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply support a flexible pipe without a fixture even in when a ceiling material is fitted after the installation of the pipe by providing a water supply main pipe fixed to a slab, a flexible pipe which is connected to the water supply main pipe and fitted with a spring heat at the tip, and a support fitted to the water supply main pipe to support the flexible pipe. SOLUTION: In execution, first a water supply main pipe 2 is suspended horizontally from a slab 1 by a suspending metal fitting. Secondly, a header 4 is fitted directly to the water supply main pipe 2 or through a branch pipe 3. Subsequently, the base end parts of flexible pipes 6a-6d, the forward ends of which are fitted with sprinkler heads 8a-8c through an elbow 7, are connected to the respective connecting ports 5a-5c of the header 4. After that, the flexible pipes are inserted in the support 15 to be supported on the support part 17. At this time, according to the length of the flexible pipe, the support 15 is moved along the water supply main pipe 2 to adjust the support position. Thus, the slab should not be provided with a pipe fixture as before, and the flexible pipes can be surely supported by the support 15 of the simple structure.
