STOP POSITION DETECTING MECHANISM OF ROTARY TRAY IN OPTICAL DISK REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a whole device by reducing heights of a rotaty tray and its stop position detecting mechanism. SOLUTION: In the optical disk reproducing device for clamping/unclamping the disk placed on the rotary tray 22 by a turntable fixed to a rotary shaft of a disk motor in such a manner that the disk motor is held with a reproducing unit chassis to elevate/lower the reproducing unit chassis, address detecting holes 22a and stop position detecting holes 22e are provided on a plane part of the rotary tray 22, then the address of the disk on the turntable is detected by the light transmitting through the address detecting holes 22a, and the stop position of the disk on the turntable is detected by the light transmitting through the stop position detecting holes 22e.
