Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the reinforcing method for an existing column in a multi- story building capable of securing excellent reinforcing strength as the reinforcement of the existing column in a cast-in place. SOLUTION: An anchor bolt 3 fixed through an existing column is inserted in a steel plate 8, screwed by a nut from before and behind, a steel plate 4 is spacedly arranged from an outer peripheral end face 12 before a column outer peripheral part exposing the existing column 1 of each story intended to be reinforced by fixing and arranging the steel plate 8, and a hoop bar 9 surrounding the steel plate 8 is arranged. A reinforcing column part 7 integrated with the column is continuously provided before the column of each story by setting a form surrounding the hoop bar 9 and placing concrete.
