ROOF TILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof tile which drains water in the vicinity of the side end part of the tile main body and prevent the tile from being trodden and broken in the vicinity of the side edge part, if the tile main body is thinned. SOLUTION: A tile body 1 having a plate part is provided with a tongue part 3 projecting from the bottom-side part to the side in one side and a receiver part 2 formed in such a state as mating and stacking with the tongue part 3 in the other side. It is also provided with a deep drain groove 4 and a shallow groove 5 which is for draining similarly thereto but has the bottom part shallower than that of the deep groove 4 in the upper face of the tongue part 3 in the order of nearness to the side end part 6.
