EMULSION PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ACRYLIC ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic adhesive composition having well-balanced adhesive properties and excellent water resistance by incorporating an active hydrogen-free polymer A comprising an emulsion polymer of a saturated alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer and an active hydrogen-containing polymer B comprising an emulsion polymer of the above monomer and an active hydrogen- containing (meth)acrylic monomer. SOLUTION: The saturated alkyl (meth)acylate monomer is represented by formula I (wherein R1 is H or CH3; R2 is CnH2n+1; and n is 1-12). The active hydrogen-containing (meth)acrylic monomer is represented by formula II (wherein R3 is H or CH3; and R4 is H, C2H4OH, or the like. The emulsion polymer constituting the polymer B comprises 100 pts.wt. monomer represented by formula I and 0.01-10.0 pts.wt. monomer represented by formula II. The content of the polymer A is 10.0-98.0 wt.% based on the total amount of the polymers A and B, and that of the polymer B is 90.0-2.0 wt.%.
