Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer foil that has improved long-term weathering resistance, wear resistance or the like and prevents ply separation between a transfer layer and an adhesive layer by incorporating an ultraviolet absorbing polymer produced by copolymerizing a benzotriazole compound or the like with an unsaturated monomer into the transfer layer. SOLUTION: A transfer layer comprises, as an ultraviolet absorber, an ultraviolet absorbing polymer produced by copolymerizing at least one selected from a benzotriazole compound, a benzophenone compound and a triazine compound represented by the formula with an unsaturated monomer. In the formula, R1 represents hydrogen, a halogen, a 1-8C alkyl or the like; R2 represents a 1-12C alkylene group; R3 represents hydrogen or a 1-8C alkyl; and R4 represents hydrogen or a 1-4C alkyl. An unsaturated monomer is not particularly limited if only it is a compound having at least one polymerizable unsaturated double bond in its molecule and, for example, a (meth)acrylate compound, more specifically, a (meth)acrylic acid or the like is enumerated.
