Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mastitis diagnostic apparatus capable of readily and surely diagnosing sthenia degree of mastitis from penetration of mastitis bacteri um to server mastitis. SOLUTION: A relation between a weak light intensity of chemical emission in phagocytosis of bacteria in milk by phagocytotic leukocyte under fixed conditions and sthenia degree of mastitis by bacteria is previously memorized in a memory part of mastitis sthenia degree data 80. The weak light intensity of chemical emission in phagocytosis of phagocytotic leukocyte in milk under fixed conditions is detected by a photodetector 41a. The sthenia degree of mastitis corresponding to the light intensity is diagnosed by reference to the memory part of mastitis sthenia degree data 80 through an extraction/conversion part 13 based on the detected weak light quantity. The diagnosed sthenia degree of mastitis is outputted by an output means 30.
