ARTICLE SURVEY METER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article survey meter for alleviating operator's burden of time and man power in the case of measuring a contamination with radioactive substance of a large type article. SOLUTION: The article survey meter comprises a radiation detector moving means equipped with a movable truck to support and easily move a radiation detector 1, and the detector 1 for containing therein a large area plastic scintillator. The moving means has a moving means body 41 on a trestle 45 of the truck, a pair of upward and downward moving arms 42, a horizontally moving arm 43, a holding arm 44, and a holding member 3 having a grip 2 or the like as an input means. The detector 1 is horizontally moved by rotations of the body 41 and the arm 43, and vertically moved by a rotation of the arm 42. The detector 1 can be easily moved by a small input to the grip 2.
