PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and securely inspect whether or not a body to be inspected has been grooved. SOLUTION: The inspection device which inspects whether or not the inner peripheral surface of a connection hole 20 of the body 19 to be inspected has been grooved is provided with an insertion head 17 which can be inserted into the connection hole 20. On the outer peripheral surface of the insertion head 17 which abuts against the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole 20, opening parts 31 and 32 for jetting air are provided. Then the insertion head 17 is inserted into the connection hole 20 and air is jetted out of the opening parts 31 and 32, while the outer peripheral surface of the insertion head 17 is held in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the connection hole 20.
