PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost for manufacture by a method wherein the arrangement in the mounting part of an ignition electrode as well as a flame rod is compacted and the incorporation of the same is facilitated. SOLUTION: A pusher plate 5, for pushing an igniting electrode 2 against one arm unit 5d and pushing a flame rod 3 against the other arm unit 5b while being fixed by a screw 6 penetrated through the central part of the same, is provided while the pusher plate 5 is screwed to a base plate 4 fixed to a burner 1 whereby the igniting electrode 2 and the flame rod 3 are fixed simultaneously. In this case, the pawl unit 4c of the base plate is retained respectively by the step 2c of the igniting electrode 2 and the step 3c of the flame rod 3 from the rear side of them to position the up-and-down positions while the ends of the pawl units 4k, 4m are received by the surfaces 2b, 3b of a square pillar from the rear side respectively whereby the igniting electrode 2 and the flame rod 3 are positioned.
