ELECTRON GUN FOR CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the total length of an electron gun for a cathode-ray tube by shortening a cathode heater part, and to compose the electron gun for a cathode-ray tube, excellent in electric-power conservation and a quick-acting performance, and suitable for mass production. SOLUTION: In this electron gun for a cathode-ray tube, a substrate metal of cathodes KB, KG, KR is joined to a conductive ceramics layer formed on one-side surface, facing to an adjacent electrode, of an insulating ceramics board 33, and heaters 42B, 42G, 42R and a heater terminal part 43, having prescribed patterns and comprising the conductive ceramics layer, are installed on the other-side surface of the insulating ceramics board 33, and an L-shaped support rod 46 is joined to the heater terminal part 43.
