Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board for dry construction wherein the strength of a plate material for a substrate is prevented from being lowered when a water drip is provided and unsteadiness of tiles can be eliminated in the construction of tiles. SOLUTION: In the board for dry construction, the width 3s of a notch 3, in the vertical direction, for draining provided in the engaging part 2a at the top end of a protruding strip 2 is made one half the entire width 2b of the strip 2 or less in the vertical direction. And the width 3b of the strip 2, in the longitudinal direction thereof, is made one third or less the longitudinal interval 3c between adjoining notches. Further, the interval 3c is made N times the length of a tile (N: integer) or the length of the tile is made N times the interval between notches (N: interger).
