Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage treating device having a high dephosphorizing function. SOLUTION: Water to be treated is treated biologically by this sewage treating device. A couple of electrodes 1A and 1B are formed in free contact with the water to be treated, at least one between the electrodes 1A and 1B is formed from a metallic material consisting essentially of aluminum, a voltage is applied between the electrodes, and power source connections 2A and 2B are furnished in this electrolytic device so that a current is applied using the electrode consisting essentially of aluminum as the anode.
