Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe method for maintaining and improving the physical condition of a horse and useful for health promotion by preventing coprostasis, abdominal pain caused by the coprostasis, or the like of the horse, improving the tendency of the coprostasis and improving the health, and further to obtain a preparation for the horse or a fodder. SOLUTION: This method for maintaining and improving a physical condition of a horse comprises feeding one or more kinds of raw Grifola frondosa dried Grifola frondosa, powder of the Grifola frondosa and an extract of the Grifola frondosa.
