Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of detecting adhesion of liquid to the inside of a battery pack containing a protection circuit board housed in the battery pack, and preventing the generation of malfunction of a control means caused by the adhesion of liquid. SOLUTION: A liquid detecting land 8 is installed in a protecting circuit board 4, semiconductor switches 7 (7a, 7b) and a latch circuit 9 are also mounted on the protecting circuit board 4, adhesion of liquid to the land 8 is detected by drop in impedance in the land 8, and by operating the latch circuit 9, the semiconductor switches 7 are forced to turn off. Thereby, charge/discharge of the battery pack is prohibited, and the generation of malfunction can be prevented.
