DUBBING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly present the text data to a user by connecting so that the text data of another one or plural pieces of text information items one continued successively to an album title being one text information item when the whole tracks of a CD are dubbed to an MD and together recording them onto the disk name columns of the UTOC of the MD. SOLUTION: At the time of dubbing in a one operation edit mode while reproduction of the CD 21 is stopped in an audio system (dubbing device) 10, a CD reproducing device 20 reproduces the whole tracks of the CD 21, and an MD recording/reproducing device 14 dubs them to the MD 15. Further, according to the dubbing of the whole tracks, the album title and the performer of the CD 21 are connected as a character string so that the performer succeeds the album title to be recorded in the disk name column of the UTOC of the MD 15. Further, the track title of the answering track of the CD 21 is recorded in the track name column of the each track of the MD 15.
