POSITION DETECTING METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting method and its device capable of detecting the position of a noncontact-type storing device in a short time by facilitating setting and changing operation of the installing position of a non- cotact type information reader. SOLUTION: Transmitters 21 to 23 transmits reader identification information of non-contact type information readers 11 to 13 and read information including the individual identification information of the non-contact type storing device 90 read by the readers 11 to 13 and time information showing time taken for reading individual identification information from antennas 27 to 29 with radio signals. Receivers 41 to 44 transmits read information transmitted from the transmitters 21 to 23 to a manager 60 through a transmitting line 63 to store in the storing means of the manager 60. The control means 61 of the manager 60 detects a reader 11 to 13 reading a prescribed individual identification information latest or a reader 11 to 13 reading a prescribed individual identification information based on read information stored in the storing means and outputs its installing position.
