POLYCARBONATE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polycarbonate resin composition capable of exhibiting excellent moldability without deteriorating the original good heat resistance, impact resistance and transparency of the resin and useful for substrates for optical recording media, or the like, by compounding a linear aromatic polycarbontate with a specific cyclic aromatic carbonate. SOLUTION: This polycarbonate resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of a linear aromatic polycarbonate for example, a polycarbonate resin composition stabilized by the addition of a compound of the formula: A1-(Y1-SO3X1)m [(m) is 1-4; A1 is an m-valent (substituted) hydrocarbon group; Y1 is a single bond or 0; X1 is a mono-valent secondary or tertiary hydrocarbon group, ammonium cation or the like]} and (B) 0.001-100 pts.wt. of a compound of the formula [R is a 1-10C alkylene, O, S, sulfoxide or the like; X and X' are each H, a 1-10C alkyl, a 1-10C alkoxy, a 6-20C aryl or the like; (n) is 1-6].
