RACK FOR CARRYING PLATE GLASS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a plate glass not only from the direction of an edge part of the glass, but also from the direction of the glass surface by arranging a partition arm between a plurality of glasses placed parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction, and allowing the glass to be movable between the partitioning position to be engaged with the glass surface and the retracting position away from the glass surface. SOLUTION: A plurality of collars 10 are rotatably mounted on a shaft 9, and a partition arm 11 is joined with each collar 10. Each partition arm 11 can rotate the glass from the horizontal partitioning position to be engaged with the glass surface of a plate glass 16 and spring it to a rear side of the shaft 9 away from the glass surface, and support it by a back frame 12, and the position where the glass is supported by the back frame 12 is the retracting position. Each partition arm 11 is movable between the horizontal partitioning position and the backwardly-sprung retracting position, and locked and held at either position, and the plate glass can be mounted not only from the direction of the edge part but also from the direction of the glass surface. The workability of the glass placement can be improved thereby.
