PRESSURIZING HOOD SEAL DEVICE IN SINTERING FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurizing hood seal device which can get enough pressure loss without needing a seal piece and is capable of blowing gas, in a downward suction system of sintering machine. SOLUTION: The shape of the end in width direction of the bottom of the skirt part 4 of the pressurizing hood 3 provided on the sintering pallet 1 of a downward suction type sintering machine is made in labyrinth structure, and a resistor 13 is installed between the walls. It is to be desired that the resistor 13 should be made spherical or columnar, that the skirt part 4 should be provided with a resistor supplier 14, that the resistors 13 should be coupled with one another by linear member, and that both ends of the linear member should be fixed to the bottom of the labyrinth structure.
