Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice machine in which ice can be prevented from flowing into a return pipe at the time of circulating refrigerant liquid, i.e., water, from the ice storage tank side to the ice making section side. SOLUTION: This ice machine 1 comprises an ice making section 2 having an evaporator for making ice by evaporating refrigerant, i.e., water, in absorption refrigerating cycle, a tank 4 for storing ice made at the ice making section 2 and introduced through a transfer pipe 3, and a pipe 6 for returning water from the ice storage tank 4 to the ice making section 2. A separator 7 for separating water from ice slurry is disposed in the way of the transfer pipe 3 and water separated by the separator 7 is introduced to the return pipe 6 through a bypass pipe 8.
