Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin adhesive capable of easily infiltrating into a reinforcing fibrous sheet and proof against sagging in application by imparting thixotropy to an epoxy resin adhesive containing an epoxy resin and a curing agent. SOLUTION: A thixotropant is added to an epoxy resin and/or a curing agent to obtain an epoxy resin adhesive having thixotropy. The epoxy resin used is not particularly limited. The curing agent used is not particularly limited and is exemplified by an aminic curing agent or an amidic curing agent. The imparted thixotropy of the epoxy resin adhesive desirably corresponds to a ratio of the viscosity at 2 rpm to the viscosity at 20 rpm in the range of 2-7 as measured at 20 deg.C with a BH type rotation viscometer. The thixotropant used is not particularly limited and is exemplified by an inorganic substance such as colloidal silica or calcium carbonate, a fatty acid amide, or castor oil. The epoxy resin adhesive may optionally contain an antifoaming agent, a pigment, a tackifier, etc. |
