Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device reducing, through beveling, end marks generated on a metallic plate at the interlayer transition part of a winding layer when the metallic plate is coiled. SOLUTION: A plurality of end mills 20 are arranged in parallel on a metallic plate conveying line along the cross direction of the line, and the end mills 20 each given a predetermined elevation angle are lowered from an upper waiting point and further fed transversely to cut a single bevel groove Sa at the end of the metallic plates which serves as a winding starting end. The end mills 20 should be spiral end mills, some of which are rotated counterclockwise while the remaining end mills are rotated clockwise. Further, those end mills which machine both sides of the metallic plate are made to cut through the metallic plate S from the upper surface to the side faces thereof. Cutting is stabilized and the desired bevel can be formed while avoiding the splashing of chips. |
