Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion separator with the case lightened, improved in durability and with the structure simplified as the separator. SOLUTION: Plural slits 14 for holding membrane cartridges 1 and a side panel 13 are vertically formed in a slit panel 12 constituting a membrane case 7. The slit panel 12 and side panel 13 are formed by extrusion molding into a hollow body having many through-holes 12a and 13a in the axial direction, hence the the membrane case 7 is lightened, and the through-hole 12a is used as an air passage.
