Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily bring out the membrane cartridge of a membrane separator to be immersed in a septic tank and to easily clean it with a liq. chemical. SOLUTION: When the entire immersion membrane separator 1 is pulled out of a tank, an opening at the lower end of a casing 5 is watertightly sealed with a sealing material, and a liq. cleaning chemical is introduced into the cylinder 5a of the casing 5 to clean the membrane cartridge put in a membrane case 4 and the membrane cartridge is inspected, the separator 1 is raised by the buoyancy of a float 7 with the casing 5 as the guide member to a manhole, and the discrete membrane cartridges are easily brought out from the outside of the sepatic tank and inspected.
