CULTURE OF PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a plant by inoculating an infection source of specific mycorrhizal fungus, capable of increasing the branching, flower number and leaf number of the plant to obtain the plant having a good appearance and an air-purifying ability. SOLUTION: This method for culturing a plant comprises inoculating a plant with a VA mycorrhizal fungus infection source. The inoculation of the VA mycorrhizal fungus is preferably carried out in the seedling-growing period of the plant. The plant may belong to either of the families Taxodiaceae, Cupressaceae, Theaceae, Fagaceae, Malvaceae, Sterculiaceae, Myricaceae, Magnoliaceae, Actinidiaceae, Rosaceae, Rutaceae, Aceraceae, Anacardiaceae, Vitaceae, Alnus, Punicaceae, Oleaceae, Apocynaceae, Cornaceae, Meliaceae, Leguminosae, Solanaceae and Compositae.
