OFFSET TIME OPERATING METHOD TO BE USED FOR DIGITAL BROADCASTING TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT AND DIGITAL BROADCASTING TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately operate offset time between event referent time, which becomes the reference of an event including the section of time sequential information on a time base, and presentation reference time to become the reference of presentation time synchronization among a plurality of time sequential information. SOLUTION: When an event start marker signal is received from a marker switching part 23, while referring to the presentation time stamp(PTS) of presentation time read by a PTS reading part 9 at the reception point of this event start marker signal and event time expressing the relevant time in the event reference time sent from an event reference clock switching part 15, a first off set time operating part 25 of a digital broadcasting transmission equipment 1 operates the offset time between the presentation reference time and the event reference time by subtracting the event time from the PTS of presentation time.
