Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate the temperature drift caused by thermal expansion of a color selection mask throughout the cathode ray tube, and to lessen mis- landing of electron beams throughout the screen. SOLUTION: This cathode ray tube comprises a fluorescent glass panel 11 having a coloring phosphor 21 on a frontal inside surface and a stud pin 18 in the prescribed position of a lateral inside surface, an electron gun 13 enclosed in the fluorescent glass panel 11, and plural linear bodies 15 which electron beams EB from the electron gun 13 pass through. Also, this cathode ray tube is provided with an aperture grill 12 having a frame 19, a platy spring 17 locked on the stud pin 18 of the fluorescent glass panel 11, and a bimetallic platy spring holder 16 connecting the spring 17 with the frame 19 of the aperture grill 12. Here, the spring holder 16 has an undulation part 20 formed aslant the longitudinal direction.
