Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a handy throwing-in agent, usable for applying chemicals for weeding a paddy field, and further to provide an easier chemically treating method. SOLUTION: This tablet or capsule for weeding contains a sulfonylurea-based herbicidal component capable of allowing the whole amount of the chemical applied to the paddy field to be substantially dissolved in paddy-field water, a surfactant, a foaming agent and a binder. The tablet or the capsule can solve the defect of the conventional method, and weed the paddy field by a simple method without a specific chemical-scattering tool. The ten to two hundred tablets or capsules per 10 ares are applied to the watered paddy field so that the total weight may be 200-1,500 g, to dissolve and disperse the whole amount of the herbicidal component substantially, and to achieve the weeding of the paddy field.
