FROZEN NOODLE HELD BY CONTAINER FOR COOKING BY MICROWAVE OVEN AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject noodles capable of solving the problems possibly occurring when it is cooked by a microwave oven, e.g. partial drying or burning at the side lines, by adding a specific solution for preventing overheating to the side lines of the frozen noodles, already transformed into the α-state, in the vicinity of the container corners. SOLUTION: The frozen noodles, already transformed into the α-state, are cooked by a microwave oven while being held in a container 1 of a microwave- permeable material and provided with corners in the periphery, wherein the noodles are held to almost cover the bottom plane of the container 1, and a solution for preventing overheating is added to the side lines 2 of the frozen noodles in the vicinity of the corners of the container 1, the solution being at least one of the seasoning solutions selected from the group consisting of (a) soup for noodles, sauce for noodles or a diluted solution thereof, and (b) salt, sauce including soy sauce or miso. Preferably, the noodles of α-state are seasoned before being frozen.
