A diaphragm held between a pump body and a cover, respectively provided with check valves between an intake chamber and a discharge chamber formed within the pump body, wherein two inlet passageways 72 and 78, and two outlet passageways 73 and 79 are provided in the pump body 35 arranged around the circumference of a pump chamber 45 so as to form mutual pairs, namely the inlet passageways 72 and 78 and the outlet passageways 73 and 79. A connecting indent 76 corresponding to the opening ends of the inlet passageway 72 and the outlet passageway 73 and a connecting indent 82 corresponding to the opening ends of the inlet passageway 78 and the outlet passageway 79 are provided in the cover 36, tongue-shaped check valves 77, 83 are provided in the diaphragm 37, and inner surfaces of the inlet passageway 72 and 78 sides of the outlet passageways 73 and 79 are formed as sloping surfaces 73a, 79a sloping at the inlet passageways 72, 78 sides facing the connecting indents 76 and 82. With the above arrangement, it is possible to reduce the size and weight of a fluid pump.
