| Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To prohibit the dissociation of a needle selection member from a needle stem during a knitting process. CONSTITUTION: The stitch transfer needle having a transfer spring fixed at one end to the side part of the needle stem has the longitudinally long needle selection member arranged atop the needle stem and the range at one end of the needle selection member is rigidly connected in a shape connecting manner to the needle stem at a connecting point. The needle stem, therefore, has at least one notch continuously extending in a transverse direction at the connecting point. The needle selection member is inserted by a suitable connecting portion into the notch. The needle selection member (21) is guided from the side by the transfer spring (7) in a range of the connecting point (22) in order to prohibit the dissociation of the needle selection member from the needle stem during the knitting process. |
