Method for the assembly of a trowel handle, which comprises a substantially straight shaft 11 and a rigid sheath 12, preferably of plastics material, provided with an essentially cylindrical cavity 12.1 which can cover the said shaft 11 in the form of a handle, in which an axial displacement of shaft 11 with respect to handle 12 or vice versa is caused to take place so as to completely fit the former on the latter, and subsequently relative rotation of shaft 11 with respect to sheath 12 or vice versa about the axis of the cavity 12.1 of sheath 12 until the said rotation stops in the corresponding relationship of shaft 11 and sheath 12 in which handle 10 is correctly positioned with respect to the blade of the trowel, means for mutual immobilisation 11.3, 12.2, 12.3 through bayonet attachment being provided in the said shaft 11 and the said sheath 12 which ensure that the said components 11, 12 of handle 10 retain the said relative positions.
