The apparatus (1) also comprises means (9; 9a) for supporting the container (2) in the tank (4) in such a way that it can rotate about a predetermined axis of rotation (5), means (6; 20, 19) for driving the container (2), apparatus control means (10); and means (11) for programming germination cycle parameters, the latter controlling the control means (10).
