Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which is simple and economical and low in mechanical resistance. SOLUTION: The filter to be set especially in a ventilator and/or a heating apparatus and/or an air conditioner for an automobile is constituted of a filter medium (31) having pleats and surrounded at least partially by a plastic frame (32) fixed to the filter medium (31). The pleat (42) has a V-shaped cross section, and the side walls (33, 34, 133) of the frame (32) agree with the V-shape at both ends of the pleat (42) and have openings at least alternately. As a result, both ends of the pleat (42) of the filter medium are not closed.
