Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a scissors lift which comprises at least one pair of rods which are hinged together in an intermediate zone about a major hinge axis that is essentially horizontal. Said rods are hinged, by their lengthwise ends situated on one side of an imaginary vertical plane passing through the major axis, respectively to a base element and to a lifting plate. The scissors lift has means of actuation which act on the rods to make them rotate about the major axis so as to make the lengthwise ends of the rods situated on the base element come together, resulting in lifting of the lifting plate. The ends of the rods situated on the other side of the imaginary plane are associated in a movable fashion with respect to the base element and to the lifting plate and the means of actuation comprise a pushing element of variable useful length which is connected by one end to the base element, at the part opposite the zone of hinging of one of the rods to the base element relative to the imaginary plane, and there is a pressing element which acts on the sides of the rods which are liable to pull apart when the ends of the rods associated with the base element move closer together. |
