Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a controlled-release mucoadhesive pharmaceutical composition for the oral administration of furosemide. This composition, which is vehicled in an appropriate dosage form, comprises a plurality of macrogranules of lipophilic material covered with a mucoadhesive layer. The invention makes it possible to minimise the diuresis peak and the variability of response which is normally encountered during treatment with this drug.
