Zusammenfassung:The process to which this patent relates consists of treating a useful material based on the sulphate PbSO and the oxides PbO4 and PbO2 recovered from the plates of spent accumulators at a temperature of not less than 1300 degrees C with a fused material containing micronised Fe as the reducing agent and comprising a mixture of equal parts of white marble and granite slurries obtained as wastes from cutting operations. The said micronised Fe is present in a concentration of 25-30% by weight in granite slurry. Metal Pb and a valuable by-product or slag having a Pb content of less than 1% which can be used for the manufacture of cementitious conglomerates are obtained.
