PROCEDIMENTO PER LA PRODUZIONE DI ELEMENTI MONOLITICI DI FORMA COMPLESSA IN MATERIALE COMPOSITO E PRODOTTO COSI' OTTENUTO

This invention relates to a process for the production of monolithic elements of complex shape from composite material and product obtained by that process. The process comprises providing a fibre fabric impregnated with a polymerisable resin in the form of a mould subdivided into several parts which are subsequently polymerised keeping the parts of the mould separate; the various parts of the mould are then assembled retaining the polymerised fabric in its corresponding seats and placing a thermoformable sheath, pieces of preimpregnated fabric and an adhesive material between the various parts. A pressurised fluid is introduced into the thermoformable sheath which causes the fabric to adhere to the inside walls of the mould which is heated so as to bring about polymerisation of the adhesive material and impregnating resin. Finally the mould is cooled and opened to permit extraction of the monolithic piece.
