Zusammenfassung:	A textile machine has a cross-wound bobbin winding assembly with a thread splicing unit with a pneumatic splicing passage. A control unit linked to a lever-operated cam presents the loose thread end at a pre-determined point. The textile machine esp. has a central control unit which regulates the swivel (S) presentation of the thread by the cam. The swivel-motion (S) is varied as required by defined end-stops which are positioned in accordance with the required angle to limit the thread pick-up and presentation travel. The cam presentation is regulated by a step motor. The end-stop positions are set by magnets.
