As soon as the dynamic pressure of the air E diminishes E1 to the point where the velocity of descent D increases D1 because of the reduced velocity of advancement of the wing foil 1, air F entering by the increase in pressure at the soffit 1i through the valve openings 3, 4 compensates for the decrease in pressure in the cell 1c, preventing it from collapsing.
