A method for feeding and preparing information leaflets (11) on a product packaging line consisting of a first carton conveyor (1), a second product conveyor (2) and, between these two conveyors, a leaflet continuous-grip conveyor (1) for transporting leaflets (11) along a conveyor (27) aligned to the packaging lines where the leaflet conveying means (7) have sections with varying degrees of grip to facilitate feeding and inserting of leaflets (11). The invention also includes a system for implementing the above method consisting of two belts (8, 9), one above the other, touching and longitudinally aligned. The leaflet (11) is gripped and transported between the two belts (8, 9) to form a leaflet conveyor line (27) which is aligned to the packaging line where the means (7) of leaflet conveyance consist of a pair of parallel, coplanar closed-loop belts (8, 9) touching along their inside surfaces to form the leaflet conveyor line (27) and including means (12, 13, 14, 15, 16; 17, 18) for adjusting the adherence between the two belts (8, 9) and guide means (22) for folding and holding the leaflet (11) in position in readiness for insertion into the carton (24).
