Zusammenfassung:	A process on an open-end spinning rotor to produce core stretch yarn has staple fibre introduced to the rotor which is spun with an elastane base from a reel at the back of the rotor. This is unwound by tension rollers and fed into a passage coupled to the rotor, then the multicomponent yarn is drawn through another set of rollers, driven at a proportionately higher speed. ADVANTAGE - There is improved control over the relative stretch and speeds, with facility to stop and restart easily, producing even yarn and elasticity, with fewer breaks.
