DISPOSITIVO ACCESSORIO DI AUTODISINFEZIONE AUTOMATICA, PER ADDOLCITORI A RESINE

An automatic self-disinfecting device for resin softeners characterized by an electrolytic cell, adequately powered, to combine with resin softeners. The electrolytic cell is predisposed to automatically start working during the brine suction phase and, by means of electrolysis of the sodium chloride, able to disinfect the ion exchanging resins. The above mentioned electrolytic process, in particular, renders the outgoing brine concentrated about as much as it was originally, but containing a quantity of hypochlorite in the order of milligrams/litres so that regeneration and disinfection come about simultaneously. The device is particularly advantageous when integrated with a complimentary device for a preventative and necessary softening of regenerated water.
