Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a non-adjustable step screen for the cleaning device of a combine harvester, which consists of individual strip-shaped profiles arranged transversely to the crop-flow direction and connected firmly to one another, two respective adjacent profiles being shaped in such a way that they have air-passage and grain-passage orifices as well as sliding and fastening surfaces and a step. Essential features of the invention are that the adjacent profiles are arranged with a mutual overlap in such a way that they form with one another fixed air-guide channels, the length of which amounts to at least half the width of the profiles.
