Zusammenfassung:	The axial threshing and separating mechanism has a separate intake (A), a threshing (B), and a separating zone, (C). It comprises a housing (1) with spiral internal guide ribs (2), a threshing concave (3), and a separation grille (4) in the housing bottom. A rotor (5) in the housing has threshing and separating members, between which are transport members (8) inclined to its axis, set from each other in the longitudinal direction. The threshing and separating members form a stepped pattern, each step comprising a spiral (6) and a straight section (7). Each transport member is joined at its leading end to a straight section, while there is a gap between its trailing end and the next straight section, while there is a gap between its trailing end and the next straight section.
